This is a nice question from one of our customers. You know, the material of our Bio bag is PLA+PBAT. PLA (Polylactic acid) is a brittle material, while PBAT is also an eco-friendly compostable material.
In fact, previously, we used the 100% PLA bag to wrap our CPLA cutlery. However, there’s feedback from our buyers that the pure PLA bags are so noisy. To solve this problem and to bring satisfaction to our end users, we changed the formula by adding the BPAT (butyleneadipate-co-terephthalate) in it. Finally, it’s proved to be perfect that both the flexibility and strength of the bio bag is increased. Moreover, the bio bags made of PLA+PBAT is soft to touch and no noise at all.
Both PLA and BPAT materials are Eco-friendly material, 100% biodegradable and compostable, BPI and Din Certco certified.
Since then, more and more bio products in material of PLA+PBAT come into being in our company. It means you have more choices, such as trash bags, T-shirt bags, salad bags, etc. They are not only used for wrapping of the CPLA cutlery, but also for other foods and usages.
